Clean the seat with a damp cloth:

Clean up any spilled food or drink with a soft, damp cloth before folding up the high chair. Use soapy water to clean the seat pad and the back of the chair as needed for sanitation purposes. Avoid washing or drying any part of the chair. Use a clean towel to pat dry the cleaned seat.

Place yourself in the chair’s back:

Walk behind the chair or turn it around so the back is facing you. When you’re facing the chair, folding it is a breeze. If you’re trying to do this while standing in front of the high chair, you might run into some problems.

Press the triggers all the way to the top:

Pull up on both latch release triggers at the same time with one hand. Pressing both triggers requires some effort. To get the best results, rest your thumb on the chair’s stationary part just above the trigger. To pull the trigger, squeeze the trigger with your other fingers. The rest of the chair should begin lifting as soon as you release the triggers. If you hear a “click” as you lift the chair, you’re done.

When the chair starts to collapse, release the triggers:

Once the latches are released, the high chair should begin to collapse in on itself. Latch release triggers can be released as soon as this occurs. Your hands should now be free to move up and sit comfortably just beneath your child’s backrest on the high chair frame.

Make a 180-degree turn from the seats:

Down and forward with the cloth-covered back and the cloth-covered seat. Keep pushing the seat and back until they are directly across from your legs. You can also select up the legs with one hand while holding the seat with the other. At this point, no part of the cosco high chair should come into contact with the ground. Use both hands to fold the two halves together.
